#these are old + first time drawing them but they're decent imo #book propaganda: so it's an aztec detective series ! called Obsidian and Blood by Aliette de Bodard #in the universe where the gods are very real and priests can make contact with them and even enter their worlds #and the shady murder case happens. involving said gods #I'm the slowest reader in the world but I really really like it #the main hero is a priest of the dead #and he is 1.bisexual in a way jacopo lomeli is #2.WHUMP MATERIAL the most sad and pathetic man who's getting beaten in almost every chapter #he thinks so low of himself AND people around him scold him as well but he keeps doing the right thing no matter the cost #I love him so so much <333 #also he's the scapegoat of his family and it's one of the main themes of the books #and like. miss board. you didn't have to do his but you absolutely did </3 #I relate to him a lot.
