Another assignment I submitted last week, for a t-shirt design. Based around the concept of colour perception and symmetry, I was inspired by Beau Lotto's "Optical Illusions Show How We See" example of colour inversion of a desert landscape. I was interested in experimenting with how to recreate this experience graphically, with a focus on symmetry, and the brain's natural affinity for symmetrical design.
