Today I rose in strong support of #ACA5, to send a constitutional amendment to the voters to repeal Prop 209 & legalize affirmative action in California. Prop 209 - like Prop 187 (banning healthcare & education for undocumented immigrants) Prop 8 (banning marriage equality) & Article 34 (perpetuating racial segregation) - is a scar on the California Constitution.
