Here’s a character who actually shows up in the first chapter 🙂‍↕️

Diego is a bit of a nerd with a passion for all things unusual- but more than anything he has a passion for Cherry. The two met long after the abstraction, so he’s never known her any other way. When they moved in he received many aggressive pleas from her parents to back out- even to the point of bargaining. But he stood strong, knowing that they had something special no matter how their eyes compared.

He continues his work as a chemist, trying to find some way to make sense of the asteroid and its odd qualities.

Who’s next to meet? Kateydid!

Kateydid is another of the main characters in my comic Abstract Mind. She worked hard with her best friend to build a local circus from the ground up. She wanted it to be a place for people who had been otherwise rejected, people who needed a strong and safe community, while also having fun!

In the aftermath of the asteroid, Kateydid’s parents were cold to her, convinced that she wasn’t the same as she used to be- depressed that they didn’t recognize their daughter anymore. Knowing that others had suffered similar situations while also watching conflicts arise around the discrimination of eye types, Kateydid joined the All Eyes Equal movement to help out.
