i like that, for the most part, he’s a normal guy. he loves his mom, he loves football. he goes to church on christmas and easter. he didn’t have some horrific thing happen to him as a kid, he doesn’t have any weird religious delusions. he feels love and guilt and shame. which makes everything he is and does so much worse eheheheheh
