How do i import pngs or tagra files into tvp and have their alphas working and also using light table mode? .
I seem to remember having trouble importing transparent PNGs into TVP a while ago and just composited them in using After Effects. It was just painted foreground stuff so I traced a proxy of what it was and animated using that so I knew where it would be when I added it in later.
The light table will onion skin everything on a layer, it won’t show you the outlines of a drawing if you coloured it in on the same layer, it’ll just show you a big block of colour. So it’s the same if you import a full image, if you find out a way to import a transparent PNG then it should show that shape in the light table, if not then all it will know is that the layer is filled up with a solid image.
