"Above the echoes"
Shirakawa-go, Japan
No this is not a drone shot. So the story here is when i was walking in Shirakawa-go one of Japan's Unesco Heritage sites. There was an observatory area but was almost like a 30 minute walk uphill to get to it. so i decided why not, i'm only carrying 7kg of gear at the time... it took me an hour going uphill haha.
By the time i got up the observation deck there were a lot of people. and i said to myself, how did these people get here fast? It turned out there was another was where you can ride a bus uphill and there was a rest stop there. I couldnt get past the other tourist taking pictures so idecided to have an Ice cream near the shop where the busses parked. To my suprise i noticed a small clearing in the shrubbery that line the barricade from the cliffside and it was exactly alligned with the main road of the village. This was the shot.
