Tori, youngest daughter of the owner of the local newspaper, has always been shallow and selfish, coming across as plain cruel a lot of the time. She was as popular as her big sister in high school.. but for all the wrong reasons. Nobody liked her, they feared her. Feared they'd send her to social Siberia.

Her mother had an affair and left her, her father, and her sister high and dry a couple of years ago. Tori still sees her mother around town of course, but the woman refuses to acknowledges either of her daughters, something which really gets to Tori. She's also rather bitter that her sister got most of their mothers attention before she left them, which caused her to often be rude to her sister while they were growing up. Her sister only wants what’s best for her but Tori resents it because she feels her sister sees herself as better than her, superior, and it upsets her. Tori doesn't like the way she is. She doesn't like that she cheated on Thomas Dawson, the only boy she could have ever loved.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born in Florida but moved to Sandpoint when she was 10 due to her father’s work transferring him.

Tori has always been one of those girls who felt trapped. In this town. In her life. In her school. In her dead end job. Nothing was ever quite enough for her, she was incredibly hard to please and she was always dreaming of getting away from wherever or whatever she was. She was a small town girl with big city dreams.

She drifted through school without much of an interest and skipped the further education of college or university. Studying had never been Tori’s thing really and she’d always much preferred the idea of working and saving her money up for her ‘big getaway’.

Tori highly underestimated just how much bills and such would be when she finally moved out, after saving enough for a deposit on a little apartment of her own, and almost missed the easiness of her parents place. It was nice having independence but her dream of getting out of town seemed to be put on hold… not that she’d had any great plans exactly but she just knew that she wanted to not be stuck.

Though of course, wherever she went, she would feel the same.

Bartending pays the bills, just, as she has always been, and still is, pretty dirt poor unfortunately.
