Short History

From birth until she aged out of the system, Matilda bounced from foster home to the children’s home so often that she earned the nickname ‘Bugs’ from her best friend, Luke. Unfortunately, it stuck and Luke never called her anything else.

At fourteen, she got her first job in an old diner called ‘Dolly’s’, slinging pancakes and learning the grill when the old cook felt like letting her watch. She worked there for two years and its still her favorite job she’s ever had.
