hi risa! can i ask what your journey in learning to code was? your themes are always just stunning!
Yes absolutely! I self-taught myself throughout the years. My very firstĀ ācodeā was a layout on this horse game called Howrse; just simple HTML which I had on my profile (and a horse graphic as the header, I was thatĀ crazy horse girl). I think I was in middle school at the time?Ā
In terms of learning: a lot of it was me googlingĀ āhow to make a tableā orĀ āhow to center textā and painstakingly trying to figure it out. If you saw my first few attempts I guarantee that youāll laugh. I think at one point I even made a virtual pet page whereĀ āvirtual petsā were available for random online people toĀ āadoptā - in reality it was just a photo of a hamster that I put a filter on in photoshop and placed in the center of a blank page on Weebly.Ā
Once you master the basics you can pretty much mix and match and finesse your way into making semi ~polished~ looking pages...though sometimes the code itself will look a mess. But as long as it looks good in the end.... itās ok ;u;
Itās super fun to code and do new things! I still only know HTML and CSS and have yet to even touch Javascript or any other types of coding - I was interested in computer science as a major but things didnāt end up panning out that way: so I really enjoy making new pages for roleplays when I have the chance!Ā
