He sort of remembers, but everything is fuzzed.

He remembers his sister, and father a lot more. Yet, Elliot making sure he forgotten he was once human. (Which worked.)

Olive though can sense his father’s bad aura. Which made Olive panic and took his sister away from their own dad.

Olive has spent the majority of her life so far in an isolationist community in the midst of the Hockomock Swamp, so she’s still getting used to things like caps and people who aren’t related to her and not very slowly dying of long-term exposure to radioactive swamp gas or malaria.

Olive usually omits her last name because the McCraes don’t have a very good reputation where she’s from and she’s trying to distance herself from that.

It’s widely accepted that her Auntie Joan drowned Olive’s grandfather in the swamp when she was younger and that’s why large portions of the clan won’t talk to her, but it’s not talked about because that would be rude.  It’s also widely known that her Auntie Joan drowned Olive’s cousin (who was shaping up to be another regular McCrae warlord) in the swamp, which is why Joan took Auntie Jane and Uncle Daryl and booked it out of there.  Olive doesn’t know how to feel about this, so she doesn’t think about it too hard.

She’s very fond of her Uncle Daryl because he’s nice and brings her leather and animal hair sometimes to use in her dolls, but he’s not in Goodneighbor very often because he’s a trapper.  He doesn’t speak that much because he’s not too good at speaking, but she figures that it’s okay because she doesn’t know how to talk too well with people either.

Olive doesn’t know what olives are.

She has a mean aim with a bow and arrow.

She used to be a maid in the household of one of the other McCrae families, but they weren’t good to her and she doesn’t like to talk about it much.

Olive basically approaches any fights like a life or death situation.
