Can I ask what's your zodiac sign 👀
Pick a cool one and I'll be that
Where does your character feel most safe?
OOC:
In White Crest? Nowhere!
It's not a place so much as it's the company. Luce feels safest when all three of the sisters are together. She is well aware of how dangerous this town is, how swiftly death can come for them at any time. And she's also very aware of how powerful all three of them are. Individually, they are dangerous. Together, they can conquer even death itself. She feels safest when she's with her sisters and when she knows they have her back.

What is the most Australian thing you've ever done?
Ash this is such a fuckin great question and I am struggling so hard to think of things...
The first house I lived in (like ages 0-8) backed onto a patch of bush, which in turn backed onto a series of paddocks. One of my earliest memories is very calmly watching from the bedroom window as my dad killed a red-belly black snake with the back of a shovel.
The same backyard also homed a number of sheep who would periodically wander in the yard for grazing and then wander back out again; an echidna who I watched my neighbour remove with his bare hands for relocation so he wouldn’t get trampled by said sheep; a myriad of jumping jack ants, who if you’re not an Aussie, are little jumping, biting assholes who want you to Suffer for daring to be bigger than them; as well as a bunch of yabbies (a kind of fresh water crayfish?) who lived down in the back creek.
We used to spend hours and hours trying to fish for yabbies in the creek. The way you’re meant to do it is by filling a stocking with some raw meat and then when the little suckers come to grab it, their claws get tangled in the fabric and bam! Ya got lunch! My siblings and I were not great fisherman and very loud, so from memory I don’t think we ever got any.
There is a place hidden away within the mountains, surrounded by snow that looks so beautiful it will draw you in and never let you go. The way the sun hits the snow covered tips and filters through into the valley below -- where if you listen carefully enough you’ll hear the wonder of the people who call this place home. How lucky they are to be blessed by such beauty. Surely, there is one particular redhead who feels this way every single time he returns. The mask that hides the Turk from the man he truly is. The mask that simply has to be in place because this place? This place he has to protect from everyone. There are people here that he has to keep hidden from everyone. Those closest to him don’t even know how much this place holds his heart. How much it holds his true self.
Now, if you look carefully enough, hidden away in the valley beside a frozen a lake you might catch a glimpse of, not one, but two redheads. Both with smiles on their faces that nearly scream happiness. One male, bundled up in snow clothes, and another -- a young girl, no older than nine years old. It’s this girl, this young girl so full of life and happiness that Reno will fight to his last breath to protect from the world. To keep hidden. The same fire-red hair as the man beside her, the same electric blue hues and the same lithe frame. He would tell you, while she expertly throws snowballs at his head, that she’s his little sister and hope you don’t look any further than that.
But is that true? I’ll let you deduce.
For when he was much younger, he proclaimed to find a child abandoned and requested that he’d be the one to take her to an orphanage where he knew she’d be looked after. Even as the babe, no more than a month old lay in his arms, the familiar eyes looked at him. His leave was granted. He never spoke about the child again, only to say that he was happy with his choice and knows the child will be taken care of.
But if you look within the snow covered valley, you might catch a glimpse of two redheads playing in the snow, you might hear her call him by his true name -- or maybe one day he’ll tell her the truth, maybe one day when the world settles enough and he’s sure he can definitely come home to her. Until then, she’s happy spending time playing snowball fights with her older brother [real name not yet released].

hi!! this may have been asked already but i saw it on patreon screenshots and i was wondering - what programme do you use to write? i really love how it highlights the dialogue from other text it seems really neat 👀👀
I use Atom! It's free to download and there are ChoiceScript packages to download on GitHub too :)
I know different authors use a bunch of different programmes to organise their writing and code, so you can totally shop around to find the one that you vibe with most.
What is the best day your character can imagine having?
//Hm.
Luce would wake up in her cabin. She would gripe and groan to Iggy about having to go to a coven thing tonight, but would go anyways. She wouldn’t have to put on her choker, because there wouldn’t be a scar around her neck. She would wear whatever shirt she wanted because she wouldn’t have lightning scars over her heart. She would go to her parent’s house and talk to them about how the cousins in Turkey are doing, how her father’s tailoring is going, fielding prying questions from her mother.
She’d meet Nell and Bea for drinks. Maybe Felix and Adam would be there too. They’d laugh. They’d have a good time, chat about what’s going on with them. Talk about Bea’s latest show at Illusions of Grandeur, tease Nell for whatever shenanigans she’s gotten up to lately. The three of them would go to the coven event, mingle with the rest of the spellcasters who have been their second family for as long as Luce can remember. She’d use her fire magic without worrying about the sparks sputtering and failing in her fingers. The magic would work without a hitch.
She’d go home and work on a piece she’s planning on making the central part of a series she’d pitch to a gallery outside of White Crest. She’d finish up a design she’s working on for a client at the shop before taking a long hike with Iggy into the woods.
The best day Luce can imagine having is one where life is as it was a year ago.
[meta] Does Luce think her mother's actions are forgivable?
OOC:
Generally speaking, Luce doesn’t think her mother deserves forgiveness for anything she’s done. And this comes from a whole host of reasons, the breaking point being the girl’s excommunication from the coven and subsequent estrangement from the rest of the Vural family. While Demir paid the girl’s debt without Nisa’s influence, Luce still believes her mother used her father to try and get their forgiveness. And that, honestly, makes Luce hate her mother more.
Luce has tried very, very hard to be someone that her parents-- but particularly Nisa-- could be proud of. But, she was always lacking. Never in any awful, catastrophic way, but Luce could never quite gain her mother’s approval. She was never as skilled with magic as Bea, never as outgoing as Nell. She was quiet. Moody. More interested in art than in studying, more interested in practical uses of fire than show stopping explosions. And Nisa never really paid much attention to her because of those differences. Who can blame her though? When Nell was such a troublemaker and Bea had so much talent and promise, who could blame Nisa for letting Luce slip through the cracks?
Luce can. And she does. At this point, Nisa is dead to Luce.
