Hey anon !

I mean you're not wrong, Michael was definitely the nerdy geek to Brian's coolest guy in the world persona. Not to mention him living vicariously through Brian when he wanted yet scolding his behaviour when he was either jealous or disapproved. But to be slightly fair to Michael, I think the fact that they met in high school when Brian was 14 and they grew up together into adulthood kinda solidified their bond.

Michael got the thrill of being friends with a popular kid in school, got to have fun and Brian protected him from the bullies. Remember Brian was a young gay kid living in an abusive household with homophobic parents and no support, and for all his bravado he was a young child living in an unstable environment. Then he meets Michael another young gay kid who comes from the complete opposite lifestyle to him, he has an open house with a loving and supportive mother and uncle. Brian finally had a place he could go and feel safe and experience the kind of love he never had. So I can see why they were drawn to each other.

Zaire, Michael’s darling little angel baby was the first actual infant in Heaven and no one but Gabriel the Holy Midwife knew how to look after a literal child.

Michael is basically the one that is in charge of heaven whenever Juma is out and about. He’s the one she leaves in charge and he’s the one that is the leader of the angels. His #1 job, above all else, is to make sure that all of the human souls are entertained and happy.

All of them? That’s a bit... let’s start with five, and I’ll try to keep it light, alright? :)

1. Michaels wings are excessively downy in texture and prone tangles. Michael also hates spending too much time and effort keeping them tidy, so it’s fairly common for them to look somewhat unkempt.

2. Michael doesn’t like sweet things, or things with artificial flavors. He prefers salty and sour things in general (although there are some exceptions like blackberries).

3.He’s a bit of a bibliophile, collecting books as much for the stories and information in them as for how they look. He’s especially fond of old science texts, particularly astronomy, as he finds it interesting to see how humanity’s understanding of their surroundings have grown and changed. He’s also a sucker for fiction, the cheesier the better.

4. The archangels were allowed to help some with creation to learn to control their abilities and understand the process. Some of their creations even made it to Earth. Michael is responsible for horses and redwoods. Raphael created wasps when he was annoyed with Gabriel and Lucifer, and was very surprised when they made it to earth as well.
