Hi, thank you so much for asking. I’ll put a link to the page and to my character page in the description after this.

Essential rules you need to know:

- OC FRIENDLY, but PICKY

This means that if you have a fleshed out OC that I’m interested in, I’ll write with you, but I reserve the right to decline.

- VERY PICKY CROSSOVERS AND MULTISHIP

My Erestor is by all means bound to Glorfindel in that I would like to play him according to a mostly specific timeline, and therefore - while I am not ruling out the possibility entirely - I don’t believe he would be open to ship with many people, if at all.

As for crossovers, I do have a Modern Erestor headcanon, but the same ship applies, and all of the other rules as well.

- Will interact with any Tolkien character (again, given that I feel there is a good chemistry between us and our characters).

- Will answer ANY anon (ie. even if I’ve declined paragraph-rp with you/your OCs, I will still answer any asks you send, given that it respects my rules and that it does not have for a purpose to develope back into a paragraph thread). I LOVE Magic!Anons. If you ever want to send me one, please do.

- Will write in French and/or English (although my written French may be a bit rusty as I haven’t used it for much other than texting since I’ve finished school). Will also write with people who’s native language is not English. I feel like this goes without saying but used to be a big deal a few years ago soooo…?

- And last but not least, obviously, NO GOD-MODDING. For those who don’t know - in case my old age gives me away on this one - God-Modding is permitting yourself to describe the actions of a character that isn’t your own during a thread (ie. if we’re writing and at any point you write something Erestor does). That is not to say you can’t include something I’ve previously written in your own reply, but to assume how Erestor would react to any given situation is a huge no-no.

In order to avoid this, it’s best to write to me personally to see if we can time our replies in such a way as I can write the response you need, or that we can agree on some sort of compromise.

Erestor’s Backstory:

Since you can’t get to the page links, I’ll include this here as well.

My Erestor was born FA 459 in Nargothrond. He survived the fall and ended up living with his grandfather in Gondolin, where his experience and his mpother’s reknown as King Felagund’s excellent scribe allowed him to pursue his studies. He survived this fall also, but came out of it with something resembling selective mutism. Not so much as a disorder, as much as he is very much capable of speaking, but chooses not to in most cases.

This, as you can imagine, is a challenge when writing rp, but if you think you’re up to it, let’s talk.

There’s some debate as to what happened to him after the fall, but he met with the dwarves for a time and learned their tongue. He also escaped from the Havens of Sirion and eventually helped found Imladris with Elrond.

was lucius there- and if he was did he do it? (one of my favorite interpretations is that lucius was forced to do the mark but i know that probably isnt likely)
