Okay chat we are at t-minus 2 days and 1 hour till I can legally fag out

I have to convince myself it’s not a date… but I kinda want it to be? I also am just starved in like every kind of relationship right now so I might just be grasping at straws but like I also just don’t know I’m not used to people actually messaging me daily, even if it’s just back and forth memes, it still just makes me feel seen. Do I like her or does she just give me the attention I’ve only gotten from being in a romantic relationship? Idfk life is weird

One of my favorite parts about waitressing in the same place at the same time for years and years is my regulars. I love when I get to excitedly welcome them, I love asking if they even need a menu cause they know what they want already. Especially I love families that come in. I love getting to watch these kids grow up and watch their milestones, like this one kid, I’ve gotten to see him go from getting carried in to him walking in on his own two feet, watching him go from babbles to ordering his own milk and pickles. It warms my heart. I still remember this family that hasn’t come in for years but the two girls would give me a hug cause they were super excited to be here. Last time I saw them, the younger girl was telling me about her birthday and she even ordered off the regular menu (not the kids menu), it was genuinely so exciting for me. Or the older couples that come in and have watched me grow up aswell. Life is sometimes like really fucking cool, ya know?
