#about fics

A Rosquez story.

I really don't know if there are people interested in this one, but I had to outline it and start working on a prequel to lay down proper breadcrumbs of Marc's and Valentino's relationship in Men on Film, especially across Act II and Act III.

It's set in NYC as well. The same universe, but in the '70s. Valentino POV.

I don't use the notes app for fics anymore so it is something so mundane as the sum of how much money I needed to make sure was on a certain bank account. And a list called "Nystart" for things I sorta need and sorta wanna have. ❄️ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best? Wow. What a difficut question. Right now I think I would love to read a non-canon au, with the change that when the time comes for Wille to renounce his title he has for some reason can't. Exactly why I don't know, maybe after something supernatural start to happen worldwide that just makes it to a not prioritized thing. Cause with his status he and Simon can go on a quest to help resolve what ever it might be. And I have several very vague head canons about Simon's ancestry carrying magic. So that is something that would play in to the story arc without us really knowing from the beginning.

As to who to write it.... Even more difficult. The Young Royals fandom don't really have that many authors that has dipped into that genre. We have some really good vampire ones thou, so maybe one of those. I think that @vvachillessongvv would create something really good. Or maybe @spennufall or @97ways that has written fantasy for us (I am sure that I am forgetting someone obvious here).

Things...are what they are lol. I am getting better slowly but surely. I'm still holding out on Fracture main and Dead Birds.

One of my babes, @chippon finally persuaded me to release most of the fics back in the wild, so you can give them a shoutout for being supportive as fuck and reminding me why I started writing in a fandom in the first place. I mean, it's because of you all and how supported I felt writing more.

But No home for dead birds kind of made me pause a bit because some people made me realize the underage aspect of that fic didn't age well. As angsty and cathartic as it is, Tim is very very young when he started a relationship with Dick, so once I thought about it a bit, I realized some of those stories might not be something I want out there in the world. The intent was good but the execution lacking I suppose. It's in the fic pile on Ao3 so it's there if anyone wants to read it again, but the standalone, I dunno. I just dunno what to do with it tbh. Maybe make a poll?

Fracture tho has so many unread comments, I feel like ass putting it back out there when I haven't even approved those comments on the fic :sigh.
