I thought the fact that I work in a lab would make it easier to write stuff for Richter and Gaster but it’s actually ten times harder.
Like I know from canon that Gaster was supposed to be this amazing, brilliant scientist who invented things beyond Asgore’s wildest dreams. But for planning, all my brain is offering is stuff like “Talk about how he always wrote very detailed and coherent research proposals. Say the machines always operated as expected for him, even the ones that hadn’t been used in a while and therefore could be incorrectly calibrated! Oh oh, mention how his cell-counter always behaved as expected. Most experiments took only 2-3 days to run and yielded reproducible results with significant outcomes that could be formatted for publication in a professional research journal! He was unparalleled in his ability to keep variable sources of error to a minimum, making unreasonable results easy to troubleshoot and fix!”
I...I might just have to resort to “He put all the chemicals and machiney bits together and made mega cool awesome rad magic science aaaaaah!!” instead
