I learned a lot when I was seventeen.
I became the person I was instead of what my family and friends expected me to be…
I became a free spirit.
When I learn to except myself the rest came easily. I was happy.
I did things I never thought I would do, I went on adventures at 3 AM on Mondays. I experimented with… Life.
With liquor, drugs, with sex! Before 17… I thought those things were awful, I didn't want anyone to think of me as "that girl"
But I was that girl. I loved being that girl. It didn't matter anymore, what people thought of me. I didn't have time to even think about what people thought of me! I was living! Freely, wildly, carelessly — finally, I was just happy.
I heard some people when I was 17.
I broke hearts and rules... But I lived! Yeah... Seventeen was one of my best years. The year I loved MYSELF!!! And I was selfish, I can admit that. But being 17 and selfish was well worth the memories I made, the people I met, the life I lived...
Yeah, I'll miss you 17.
