his eyes had to be deceiving him. she was ... they had told him she was GONE. and though he had tried his best to hold onto the HOPE he had carried with him for so long ... it had slowly begun to slip through his fingers. yet ... there she was. a few feet away. looking, somehow, even MORE beautiful than the last time he had laid eyes on her. which had felt like an entire three lifetimes ago.
