You know, I really try not to do the whole "LET ME LIST EVERYTHING THAT'S WRONG WITH ME SO YOU WILL HAVE TO AGREE WITH ME AND I CAN MAKE FUN OF YOU AND BE REALLY MEAN AND GET AWAY WITH IT THING". But before you tell me I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to various body issues let me tell you...
Chronic depression and anxiety
Have had, throughout my life, due to other health issues and emotional abuse over my weight problems, various eating disorders but I am recovering
TMJD which is a jaw disorder. For some people it's not a huge deal, but for others like me it causes a lot of chronic pain. I am sometimes unable to talk or eat because of it. It affects everything from my face and jaw, to my head, neck and back.
Severe asthma, which is pretty normal but apparently that's a disability to you so I'm listing it
Hypothyroidism which plays into the TMJD and eating disorders
A shit ton of kidney problems like fuck I can't go an hour without peeing a tiny bit, this interrupts my sleep all the fucking time to the point where I just don't sleep anymore. It's also extremely painful.
A muscle disorder which is undiagnosed at the moment but working on it.
Possibly hard of hearing, but also working on a confirmation on that.
I don't exist for your pitty, so I try not to make a big deal of it. But don't you DARE come on my blog and imply that I can't work or play or enjoy my life because that'd be ableist. It's pretty damn ableist of you to imply that people with disabilities can't enjoy life or do things. I know it's important to talk about struggle, but that doesn't mean we aren't capable of being happy and living our lives. I know I could have it a lot worse, and I don't speak for everyone, but god damn it neither do you. You have your struggles, I have mine. Let's not make this an oppression olympics contest. God.
