DREAMS DO COME TRUE

When I was still working as a School Clerk, I've been dreaming of working as Call Center Agent. I am always looking at the big poster of Teleperformance at SM City Masinag. And I told myself, I will be part of it. I will be a Call Center Agent. Then I applied, i didn't expect that I will make it. I passed the initial, assessment, versant and final. To make the long story short, I was part of the BPO Industry for 7 years. From Technical Support Representative to Customer Service to Billing Specialist then Subject Matter Expert and Flex Supervisor. I never imagined that I will get all of this.

In 2018, I heard about freelancing. Data entry, social media manager, lead generation specialist. I tried applying in different freelancing platforms like onlinejobsph and upwork but I never get hired. So I enrolled in freelancing course for 600 pesos while I am working. Sometime I joined the class at 9pm until 11pm and my shift is 4am so I have to wake up early after the training. Most of the time I ended up watching the recorded videos. And luckily we were all given a chance to be an intern to one of the owners Social Media page. So i started posting women empowerment quotes and inspirational quotes and edit it in canva. The client was really happy about the outcome and she even hired after not as a permanent employee but everytime she needs something I will do it for her for free because I want to get more experience. Until 2019 I am still submitting proposals to different freelancing sites but still no luck. I only passed the initial interview then failed the next one. I GAVE UP.

2020, when the pandemic started everyone really wants to wfh, to be a VA, freelancer and I am one of those people. I told myself that I really have to do this again for the health of my family but still no luck. I GAVE UP AGAIN UNTIL 2021.

Then something bad came this 2022, I resigned from my previous company and I tried again applying but still no luck. Until I message one of the client that I never expected will hire me until I saw her message 2 weeks ago that was 2019 hahahahaha I asked her if she has a vacant job but she told me theres none but her friend is looking for a social media manager who can handle her social media accounts. So, I was referred by her. Client message me via WhatsApp, tell me about her business then boom. I got it! 10 hours a week. I was so happy because this is my first client i mean real client hahahhaha then I was referred again by my friend from my previous company her sister in law was looking for a VA for their client but I didn't pass because she told me it is really a hard job and it will be more harder for me since i have no experience yet as VA. BUT

She hired me as her Virtual Assistant. And I was so happy. After 2 weeks she let me handle her new project. And promoted me as a Project Manager. I was really blessed and happy🙂

Helloooo pipol of the Philippines. How are yow? I hope everyone is safe and well. And everyone is happy and still fighting.

For my weekly life update, we(my daughter) went to Fatima University Medical Hospital for shan's xray and general check up. They did some test ( cbc, xray and urine). And we went back and forth for the results and the pediatrician told us that there is no damage in her ribs or spines after she fell down, good results on her blood and urine test though there is a few bacteria but she has no UTI. I was so tired because from 4th floor OPD I have to go down to the Ground floor to the admin dept for the approval of the health card. Then go back again to OPD to submit the LOA. But I was amazed of the attitudes of the staffs, nurses and doctors in FUMS. And their facility?

W O W!!!!! We were referred to a ortho after. So we have to go back last Monday. According to the ortho, there is nothing to worry about, nothing serious and it is normal for girls to have scoliosis. We were referred again to a rehab. For PT dept. And btw there are different types of scolio. For shan's case, hers is called DEXTROSCOLIOSIS. The most common spine kinemper for girls. This can be treated by PT or by brace. It depends upon the suggestion of the doctor. And as per ortho, it is not urgent to see a ( dont know the right term for doctors in rehab hahaha) but it is better that we will schedule an appointment. We might go back after a week as we are really exposed in the hospital and I think we need to rest for a while.

Update about me? Oh!! Me and my sister might switch rooms as she is already pregnant and she need a huge and comfortable bed. And I am really excited to sleep in her room. There will be a few renovation for now.

Kamusta Pilipinas? Another week, another blooooooggggg. I am so sorry guys for not posting. I've been very busy this past few days with something important which I think will help me a lot. And I am hoping and really praying to God to give me this. Please🙏😭 Most of my teammates are work from home and we are only 2 in the team working on site. And it makes me sad. I am always spending my lunch sitting in the massage chair all alone while watching my fave netflix series. I hope this covid bullsh*t ends soon.

Ans speaking of netflix series, MANIFEST. And you guys, watch it please. I dont normally watch series that already has 3 seasons and 12 episodes for almost an hour each because I am so lazy to watch it. But this series, this is really worth watching. And I can finish 4 to 5 episodes each day hahaha

Another update, last week I already have SPAYLATER and thank you #shopee. I really envy my sister because she has it already since last year and here am I with a 5000pesos limit. I already spend 3500 and ordered 1 gallon of dishwashing liquid and 4 bags of laundry detergent ans 3 gallons of cooking oil. Hopefully it will last for 2months. And my heart is so happy. And oh! I also ordered a game boy for my daughter. Still waiting for it to be delivered.

Hmm! What else? Cleaned my room as usual, moved my pc station and removed all the dirt. And thats all for this week.
