#abc conviction

I did! I watched it when it was airing because I was fresh from the Agent Carter cancellation and really wanted to keep seeing Hayley Atwell on my screen. I actually don't mind a commercial procedural too – I think because they're pretty constraining creatively that when they're done well, they're often really smart, innovative with narrative structure and expectations, and character-driven i.e. Elementary, House MD, The Good Wife.

Conviction was...none of those things, hahaha. I watched the whole series (well, season), and I don't think it was outright bad exactly, but it felt pretty half-baked and underdeveloped, and none of the characters were compelling enough to carry the ensemble. It was disappointing, because there was a bit of talent there who I think could've done more with better material.
