Okay so i don't know what the original post about all this was. But for me, i think tumblr is good. I take meds for depression and social anxiety. and i hate going out and being with people, i hate it, it stresses me out, etc. So tumblr is kind of a way were i am not fully blocking myself out of the world, you know? because i don;t go out, i can't handle it, i break down. and if it weren't for tumblr i would be sitting on the couch all day being, well depressed.

I disagree. I disagree because Tumblr is the one place now where one can express themselves through the things they find beautiful, inspirational, funny, amusing, heartbreaking, and any other such adjective on the emotional spectrum. Through our blogs, we can define ourselves, so to speak, to a certain extent. Other social networking sites have become uniform and all the same. Tumblr is forever original because photography is forever changing and forever being created. Tumblr is amazing :)

i agree but disagree. tumblr is stupid because it's addictive and we can end up wasting our time on here when we could be doing something constructive. it distracts us from the real world. it isn't stupid because we need a place to escape sometimes, it's a place to meet new people. get away from our old friends and make new ones. it's just the 'modern' way of socializing - instead of going out. it's good & bad, just depends on how you look at it.

i disagree. i think tumblr is a great forum for people to share pictures and thoughts that relate to how they feel/things that are going on in their lives/things they like. it's a great forum for self-expression. :)

tumblr is stupid because they set a limit on the number of posts you can make per day!!!! effing ridiculous :ccccccc

Yes it's stupid, but aren't so many of the best things in life? It's fun to use & a great way to meet people and (happily) waste away hours of your life. It's a way to express yourself.
