Korra had a rare and a bit unexpected day off. Her office had to close early for an urgent maintenance issue so even though she was in center of Silver Lake and had her green work dress on the brunette had absolutely nowhere to be. Korra decided to go and spend the day around town. After an hour of walking around she was already bored of window-shopping and sight breeze. The brunette started thinking she should have made plans with someone, with a sigh she looked inside yet another shop’s window, this one happened to be the Ready Player One arcade in town. It did look fun inside with a moderate buzz of people for the time of the day, looking closer she spotted someone she knew.
Making a split second decision she walked into the arcade and moved to the guy, she hopped she remembered his name right. She’d only seen him once or twice when he was visiting people in Oasis apartments, and maybe from some of Nic’s insta stories. Putting up a bright smile Korra stepped up to him “Hi, Aaron isn’t it? I’m not sure if you remember me, I’m Korra” she introduced herself, feeling a tinge of awkwardness as she realized that she must look like a right weirdo to him, chatting up a near stranger. “Anyhow I was meandering in town and saw you and like you see like you’re not doing much, I’m not doing much, so I was like yeah we should hang. You in?” the more she spoke the more relaxed she became all the initial doubts buried under the smile in her eyes.
