Dear Anonymous,
Unless we see them caught on screen or have reason to believe they’ve been brought to justice, I just assume escaped villains are off licking their wounds, biding their time, hoping for a chance to come back in a sequel like Shelly de Killer.
Some people consider the sniper from the end of DD to be a “loose end” and they’re not wrong. I just don’t consider the phantom’s organization all that important because it doesn’t really have a direct impact on Phoenix and company and, let’s face it, they only exist within the confines of the phantom’s story which is likely over.
Dear AACJ,
There is no need to be upset and do please watch your mouth.
I don’t hate any of the games. I’m certainly more critical of AJ because I don’t like what it did, but I don’t hate it. There are parts of it I quite enjoy. However, I often speak with hyperbole and I’m often asked to critique or criticize certain aspects of characters or cases. I also try to properly explain my stance and sometimes that just boils down to my personal preferences which don’t always jive with how things were written.
As much as I love the series, it’s not flawless. Hey, who or what is? In fact, I’ve gone on record saying many times that I really liked DD and I think it’s basically what AJ should have been. Even still, it completely ignored all the loose ends from its predecessor.
In short, I’m not sure where you got the idea that I hate anything in the series (besides Spark Brushel’s design) but you seem really bent out of shape about it. You’re certainly free to agree or disagree with my assessments but I would ask you do so respectfully.
In even shorter, man, I love Ace Attorney and all its silly or serious moments. It’s full of character and sharp writing. Over analyzing things is a sign you just care too much and I definitely care more than one man should.

Dear Anthony,
Shelly’s taking one for the team. He’s a good guy. Or as good a guy as an assassin can be, anyway.
Dear Alex,
Sure have.
It also confirms that Trucy has a stage show which undoubtedly means someone will die there and she’ll be accused of it. Welcome to the club, kiddo!
Dear spoderman,
No, I leave that to the spoders themselves.
Dear yugirl,
Likewise.
To all of you out there, merry Christmas, happy new year, and a joyous whatever else you might celebrate.
And don’t forget DL-6.
