Earlier today I spent 20 min trying to unlock the front door of my building. The key would go in, but wouldn't turn. At first I was in denial like "haaha This isn't happening." And "Am I using the wrong key?" Using all of my PMS rage in trying to force it, I cut my finger on the edge of the key. Then it sinks in. "Fuck." Then I remember that I'm holding a bottle of wine under my arm. I proceed to open it as I call mom because you know, I'm gonna get shanked if I stay in the parking lot in the dark for too long. But hey, a wine bottle can be a good weapon. Empty or full. At this point I'm about to loooose my marbles. And then you have mom, who so brilliantly says, "start buzzing all the units, say you live in 206 and your key won't work" And I'm like "wtf why didn't I think of that" But you see, that creep from work that I had the nightmare about lives in this building. I don't want him knowing where I live??!! So that takes out all of floor 3, because that's the most I know of where he is. As I'm thinking it through, I've been fidgeting with the key the whole time and then WOAH it turns a little. I go "OH CHRIST". (A little loudly I guess because I hear someone on a balcony go "what?") And then I cried in the elevator.
