....why does it seem like so many people are actually gleeful about iwa-san’s ‘death’? is it just because they really love munakata, because... i’ve got bad news for them in that case... he was barely hanging on with the burden of killing one king. if you love munakata, the last thing you should have wanted was for him to kill another king.
if there are people who actually hated iwa-san, well, i want no part of that. i mean, hate the character if you will, but he was fully developed, had a tragic existence, and he was important to people who were important to him. i don’t really see him as a person to be hated, but i really can’t comprehend being excited or happy about his ‘death.’ i just don’t understand why he would inspire that sort of feeling.
and, yes, i’m saying ‘death’ because i refuse to actually believe he is dead, and, frankly, nothing gora/gohands can do will force me to believe it. they could have an elaborate funeral scene with iwa-san’s body on a pyre and nagare with tears silently rolling down his cheeks, and i wouldn’t believe. not like that, anyway.
