01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?

I’m not sure if it means anything in particular but Keinaan got his name from a minor character in Stargate Atlantis. The characters name is Kanaan but when you actually hear it said it sounds very much like Kenaan so I just added the “i” so he could have the nickname Kei and that was it.As for his surname... I honestly don’t remember how I picked it lol

06. Do they have any hobbies that their lover finds unusual, odd, or otherwise annoying?

Kei doesn’t really have any unusual hobbies I don’t think. He cooks, reads, collects geodes and does some gardening. The gardening is mostly growing his own herbs for both cooking and medicinal uses, which is useful for both him and Aster as they are both healers. Aster very much enjoys the cooking as he can’t cook at all himself. The collection of geodes isn’t very large at the moment and he keeps them in their own glass case for display. And they both enjoy reading, so no problem there.

13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor? Pushes their lover onto the floor? Sleep talker or walker?

Definitely a light sleeper, he’s always been one that wakes up at unusual sounds or lots of movements from his lover. Not much of a blanket stealer lol, unless it’s really really cold. No rolling onto the floor, unless he does so during a nightmare. He’s very cuddly in his sleep so no pushing anyone out lol. And no sleepwalking or talking.

35. Is your character afraid of death? If they got to choose how to die, how would they want to go?

Kei’s not afraid of his own death, but he very much fears the death of those dear to him. His ideal death would obviously be of old age after a long life with his lover and their family. But with his habit of putting himself in harms way to protect others, he’d be content if he died to save another. Which he almost did once, lost his leg that time.

49. What is something that your character has nightmares about? Are these frequent? Do they heavily affect your character’s mood?

He doesn’t really have nightmares much anymore unless he’s somehow reminded of certain events. One would be when he was almost beaten to death by a larger man. Since that time, he’s been terrified of when people turn anger/rage towards him and will have nightmares again for a little while if that happens.The other would be when he lost his leg. It doesn’t happen very often, but sometimes he’ll have terrible phantom pain and it will cause him to have nightmares about the fight that cost him his leg.As for his mood, inside he’ll usually feel down and not entirely himself but on the outside he tries to act like everything is the same as usual cause he’s the kind of person who is great at supporting and helping others but keeps most of his own problems to himself.He’s trying to get better at talking about it as of late though, because he doesn’t want to keep things from Aster or make him worry.
