1. Keep doing what I’m doing now-- working part time at a bookstore, living at home, and trying to write a book. I don’t want to give up on my dream yet, but I also feel like progress is glaringly slow. What if nothing ever changes? What if I’m just wasting my youth trying to do something pointless? On the other hand, my dream might deserve more than a year to try and take off before I give up on it.

2. Move away. Choose a city and go move out on my own like an adult. I’m going to be 26 this year and while living on your own isn’t something I have to do, it is something I would like to do in order to date and have my own life. I’d probably have to work full time tho and put my writing dreams on hold.

3. Go back to school. Honestly, I’d love to go get my masters in something, the only problem is that I’d have to magic the money from somewhere and also choose a masters degree which is hard bc there’s a lot of things I love to study. Also, there wouldn’t be a clear reason to get the degree besides my love of learning and school *shrug*

4. Start my own business. My editor thinks I should start my own business as a development editor and beta reader since I seem to have a knack for it. Ideally, I would love to work for myself bc doing full time work for other people is extremely hard for me due to my mood swing disorder. Sometimes I just need weeks at a time off and only working for myself provides that. 

5. Go teach abroad again. This would be like number 2, but I would probably teach in Taiwan this time, which would be exciting and fun, but also a lot like putting the rest of my life on hold for a year again. As well as extremely challenging since again, mood swing disorders make everything harder smh.
