For one, I'm tired of Ananke, I really, really am. It's almost like I can't look at it anymore (hmmm, almost, maybe that means I have to take that one more look? NOOO).
Secondly, if I add it now, I risk ruining the pacing. IDEK.
And thirdly, what if... What if I send it the way it is now, and see whether anyone will even notice that the explanation how they generate this antimatter is not in the text? Hmmm? What if the story can stand on plot and characterization alone?
