     it had been almost a year since the death of her husband and brandy had time to move on, time to get her life back and order as well as elliot’s. she was sure that she wouldn’t be here without the man that had been sitting right next to her on the couch.

     after putting her son to sleep, brandy was exhausted as she flopped on the couch next to her companion when his words came out. she didn’t know how shocking they would be until she heard them.

     yes, there had been moments when they interacted that she picked up on SOMETHING between the two of them, not to mention her animalistic senses. but she just shrugged them off, both out of guilt for moving on from maes and not wanting to ruin what she and roy had.

     but as she heard the words she instantly starting to cry, letting out all the emotions she had been piling on for a while.
