Imagine if you had to fight all Eleven Fatui Harbingers and then the Tsaritsa herself--
That'd be amazing, it'd kill my characters tho if I had to fight 12 "bosses" in a row (nothing a zhongli shield and benny heal can't handle tho ig)
but I have my own theory on what will happen (and an uncompleted fic on it in my drafts skdfjdsafdska)
I'll put it utc, this is merely a theory but will more than likely contain spoilers for the current game story + tw: mentioned dr-gging, threatened murder
The traveler is captured by the Tsaritsa, unsure of the circumstances but they get dr-gged to the point where even after they wake up they're considerably weaker than what they should be. They wake up in a... decently nice room alone. They try to break out, but the door is indestructible.
Scaramouche walks into the room to watch over the traveler as they're prepared for the Gala tonight.
He escorts them to the main hall where the Gala will be held, and in there they see the Tsaritsa on her throne. Next to her, is Paimon being held in a bird cage.
The Traveler is forced to kneel, they must behave themselves at this Gala or Paimon dies.
Cue an obligatory dance with Tartaglia once the gala stars and the room is full of people. Tartaglia tells the traveler to keep quiet about their situation, he cares about Paimon just a smidge. He also tells the traveler to enjoy themselves, like their world is about to end.
They don't enjoy themselves actually. As they make their way over to the snack bar, praying it will wear off whatever the fuck the Fatui put in their system, they observe the rest of the Fatui. I think, at this point, Traveler will have met most of the harbingers, so it's just recalling experiences and trying to think of the best way out.
Either way, the main guest for the Gala has arrived. The Tsaritsa herself announces their arrival for they're the final piece of the puzzle to finally get revenge on Celestia.
They walk up to the stage, proud with abyss lectors at their side,
It's your twin.
In league with the Fatui, they stare at the traveler pitying.

and she gets confused because you're not scared when you saw her in this form. (well you are, a little bit, but it's squashed down by fascination)
