Friday 12.04.19 in West Germany-Berlin doors 21, first show 21.30 Â Â Â BeMyDelay is the vision of Italian musician, songwriter and singer Marcella Riccardi. She lives in Bologna, where she began her musical path as a guitarist for local cult band Massimo Volume. Former member of Franklin Delano and Blake/e/e/e. For the past several years Marcella has been focusing more on songwriting and pursuing a fascination toward archaic blues and acoustic folk. BeMyDelay started in 2011, initially as a one-woman band with an array of loopers end effects to accompany her own songs. During time she got closer to a lysergic kind of folk music, always in between British Folk and West Coast style and in recent times she further opened the structures of her songs, which became more and more stretched out and free-form, like a river with thousands of psychedelic rivulets. AA..LL creates experimental sound collages with analogue electronics, modular synth and field recordings on tapes - responding to the movement of body and mind whilst building a connection to human transitoriness. "My interest in sound was always very physical. Feeling it, getting deep into single layers and travel with it. I started with self built electronics and focused on simple rhythms, repetitions and pure oscillations.
