The morning dawns and once again I’m hit by the sun’s warm rays and the all-encompassing desire to hold you close and kiss you.

I love the way you smirk when you tease me because you’re so proud of the joke you made. With a face like that, I can never stay mad at you.

You’re my best friend. You know me so well. Everything feels better when I’m with you. You make me laugh with your crazy sense of humour. You’re the biggest dork I’ve ever met. You say nice things to me that make me feel special. You’re absolutely gorgeous too. I’ve looked at you a million times, but when I look in your eyes or see you smile, I feel like it’s the first time all over again. You make me feel. I came alive in a way I didn’t know was possible when I met you. Sometimes the feelings are not always lovely or easy to deal with, but it’s the good feelings that carry me through all the hard times. I wouldn’t trade those beautiful feelings for anything. It gives me strength and happiness unlike any I’ve ever felt before. I love you. There isn’t anyone else I’d rather give my heart to or live my life with.

I miss being with you. Being separated for so long has been so difficult. You’re my best friend, but so much more. You make me laugh until my face hurts. You tell me about all the things going on in your head and you listen to what’s in mine. I know you so well. I know how you act and speak. I know what you really like and don’t like. You know me well too. You encourage me and tell me not to be so hard on myself. You try to make me happy. You express how you feel about me. What we have is really amazing. You are a blessing in my life and I love you.

I wish you could be here with me. I’m beginning a new life and it feels nerve-wracking yet thrilling. Everything here is so new and exciting. It would be almost perfect if you were here to experience everything with me.

You try so hard to make me happy. You will leave your comfort zone to give me what I want. You express your feelings even though it’s not something you’re naturally good at and have always struggled with. You’ve been so good about trying to make this work and to keep me happy. It’s very sweet to see and very kind of you. You might not always get everything right, but that’s ok. I can tell you are really trying and you are very caring and selfless in the way you treat me. You are really awesome. I promise your efforts don’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.
