midna is a bisexual heatsink for everyone in her vicinity. i'd also hazard she's polyamorous. in my headcanon, twili are rather promiscuous, and have a lot of casual flings before settling for one lifelong partner a little bit later in life.

why yes i do. let me shake out some random ones!

much of twili cuisine is nigh inedible to just about anyone else. without a sun and constant dim lighting, plants don't really develop any sort of sweetness. you ever had endive? bittermelon? that's how most fruits and veggies taste. a lot of palettes lean towards salty and bitter, with sourness from pickling, and if you're lucky, sweetness, which is basically entirely based off honey. there are some sweet-ish berries that grow in the foresty regions close to the sols but theyre really more like redcurrant than anything else. which is to say, when they eat light world food, twili think it's really bland. they go crazy for the sweets though, those are SUPER rare treats in the twilight realm and they can't fathom things like pears and mangos just growing from trees for free

they have a sub-language that consists off of little moans and hums of minimal syllables. it's not uncommon to see two people meet up, just vibing a bit making minimal noises back and forth, and leave without uttering an actual word. they just had an entire conversation no one else would be able to follow unless they got really good at the intricacies of twilit intonations and social awareness. oh and also zant is really bad at this

only some of them lay eggs. they're an amalgam of all species so the way the babies come out is basically a surprise every time. midwifery is a nightmare. in midna's family, twins are really common!

there is a relatively robust public transportation system in the twilight realm. there are shuttles, but you can also basically rent hoverbikes. the rental scooters you can cram about one driver and two passengers into. you ever play tingle's rosy rupeeland? i'd imagine not. well you'd know approximately what they look like if you did.

twili tattoos can have a variety of sources. all children are born with a family crest. others appear rather spontaneously, like during coming of age. others can appear almost like scarring, like a ring appearing around the calf after you broke your leg. others are stick-n-poke applied by chipping at the outer layer of skin and stimulate the growing of new markings. this is actually really difficult to do without just forming Regular scar tissue that Doesn't glow, so it's a really prestigious job to have. tattoo artists and their apprentices are usually a bit gnarly looking because they practice on each other, failed attempts included. it pays well and you have a job for life but it's at the cost of social standing.

midzant is a ship i'm on the seesaw about. here's the thing. i don't want him anywhere near her. BUT!

in every dynamic i imagine of midna and zant, they were childhood friends. i love seeing them as "used to be close, but a major moral clash drove them apart irreconcilably". and because zant is the way he is, midna was probably his only friend as a child, and he got a big fat puppycrush on her as a result.

but then the throne came into view. the competition. his desire to break free and get vengeance and her wish to please just let their people have their peace. and it all fell apart

i don't see any appeal of them getting in a relationship as adults, after all that's happened. he squandered those chances. but i think somewhere, even though twisted into something vile by ganondorf's power and his own hunger for power, that childhood love persists, and he cares for her still.

she doesn't though. i want midna to kick him in the kneecaps and never have to look at his ugly mug ever again.

19. sleeping position?

when congested, basically just sitting up and strangling the nearest plushie. otherwise i sleep on my stomach WITH! one knee raised. and i like having something under my shoulder. my plushies work very hard
