M CHILLIN ON A-CRAFT!
Hiii, I just wanted to ask, is the minecraft server cracked/pirate friendly?
Hello! I would assume not? I had never really thought about it prior to this ask. From the skimming I've done on it, it looks like to allow cracked Minecraft clients to join onto the server, we would have to turn the server into offline mode (I'm not sure if it is like this for all server hosts, I would assume so? But it is that way for mine lol)
Unfortunately turning the server offline would mean it would disable players skins, which the other players currently on the server would not be happy about.
As well as the aesthetic part of this, it also has the safety risk of not verifying who is coming onto the server through Mojangs servers, which provides a problem for a server that has a whitelist.
Thank you for asking this question, though! As I said, I have never really thought about it, so it was interesting to look into.
Have a nice day :]
