Besides the fact that the show is a dumpster fire and literally everything else wrong with it I think that one problem with fate is that the people who made the show approached it as a teen drama riverdale wannabe whereas fans came at it as a futuristic fantasy sci-fi series a la lord of the rings, Star Wars or Star Trek

Like where’s the worldbuilding, the 6 friends living in a dorm together sitcom energy and the cool alien outfits and I know the show runners said they wanted it to be dark but like the og series did mention genocide, death and attempted murder a lot for a kids show
