Okay, fine, @mushrooms-x-moss and @genjyoandgojyoandhakkai. You've inspired me to post this.

I don't remember exactly how this started, but I was chatting with @reaver-of-kirkwall, @jukkaricity, and @lycheecatee and I challenged everyone to put hair on a screenshot of Solas. And then we did.

Here you go. The opposite of "Peeled Lucanis," I guess.

Ok, Bryn, Jukkari, and Rose, dare you to post yours!

Oh, and if anyone else wants to join in and be silly (and put wigs, bad or glorious, on the Egg, the original screenshot is under the cut).

Sure, there's the usual patterns of an outsider to point to. Issues with chopsticks? Classic foreigner behavior. Awkward and standoffish? He's in a different country with none of his old friends! Sounds a little confrontational? Every beginner in their language struggles with tone! They don't hold it against him.

But, when trying to pinpoint exactly where Hyuse is from without directly asking and ruining the guessing game?

Hyuse just radiates Canada.

The complexities of Meeden politeness (Specifically Japan's) goes over his head some, so Hyuse has adapted to very softly, very quietly apologizing whenever he thinks he should. It's very embarrassing and pricks at his pride a little, but if this is how their society works, he has no choice but to go with it.

From an outsider's perspective, this is just typical Canadian politeness.

Hyuse may not have much of a sweet tooth, but boy does he like maple desserts! Could identify store-bought versus American versus genuine Canadian brands by taste alone (not that Hyuse is aware of that particular talent. All he knows is this one tastes good and the others are just meh.)

The cold doesn't bother him much at all and neither does Japan's wildlife. (Ask a certain agent and they'll tell you they swear they've seen Hyuse call a black bear a "good dog.") Typical Canadian nonchalance right there.

Hyuse is a violent (and sometimes rude) bastard on the battlefield? Yup, that's typical Canadian war-crime vibes. Thank goodness we have the Geneva Conventions now!

Masters kind of a pull but if I got mistaken for Champion Cynthia I'd consider myself a master that's impressive. Double is obviously for the misunderstanding going on here.
