A Noisemaker
Recorded June 2009 [Background noise; paper shuffling; essential silence for several minutes] Bill: I do wonder after the nature of love. I mean, what compels it--us--really...[door opening; something being dropped on counter or floor] Brody: [Gaelic] What're you going on about now? Bill: [Gaelic] I asked for five minutes of peace. [English] That was barely thirty seconds. Brody: It's been closer to an hour. [footsteps] Bill: Thanks, baby. [papers shuffling] Brody: [muffled]...for what? Bill: It's time that compels us to love. What is an hour alone without the hope of someone to break the silence? Brody: So I'm a noisemaker, am I? Bill: The sweetest sound I've ever slept to.
