I can't imagine this conversation sits too well with Mila considering it happened just after The Gauntlet questline. You know... where you have to confront your past and your regrets? Nevermind that Zev was so quick to try and dismiss the question when it was obvious the sting of his regret remained? Hmm!

Her confidence faltered back there and she lay bare her own regrets in wishing she could have done something different -- if there even was a way -- to protect Shianni. To save Nelaros, too, when he was so quick to try and save her life-- their lives. Later that night in her tent I imagine she fell asleep clutching onto the Reflection amulet that Shianni gave her. 🥺 I don't think she quite knows how to look towards the future just yet like Zevran seems to be when so much remains uncertain and the events back in the Alienage still feel so recent to her.

And I know the initial conversation comes about when Tabris starts asking about his sexual history but I imagine she sought him out to try and talk to him about what happened at the Gauntlet only to botch it a bit lol. I have to amount it to her not knowing how to broach the topic, getting a bit flustered when she sees the interest pique in his eyes when she's approaching him at camp and just spewing out the first thing she's sure he'd respond to instead of confronting feelings. But hey -- she did see a different side of him in that convo, a depth to him beyond all the bravado and got an answer, even if it wasn't the one she was quite looking for.

I loved how you went through their nation persona, their connection with their people and land and how you described the difference beetwen the "body" and what they truly were.
