22 July 1944. Douglas A-20G-25-DO Havoc light attack bomber 'Bevo', s/n 43-9432 of the 387th Bombardment Squadron was hit by anti-aircraft gunfire and crashed into the sea during an attack on a Japanese base Kokas, Dutch New Guinea. All aboard were killed.
