I was gonna be all like THIRD STAR!!! but now I'm all like PHANTOM!!!
I wasn't so much a wreck after Third Star like I was after The Angels Take Manhattan (I cried like someone died, okay), but I think that's because they characters weren't as internalized for me. For their viewer, it was a brief peek into their lives, not like with the Ponds who felt like family. But I was still crying during and after Third Star. It wasn't as heavy as I expected, but still touched something in me. and there's more I wanna say, but once I started scrolling a bit through Tumblr, I realized that the Phantom shenanigans were still going, and dramatically at that.
Now onto Phantom. Like holy ish. JOJ and Hugh on the same stage?! for MOTN?! That is literally, and I mean it actually and not the figurative way of teenagers, a dream for me. A previously impossible dream, and now there are like a thousand folks out there who've lived it. Like wow. They got 3 folks to jump the pond for this thing, and now they're out partying gorgeously until tomorrow. (Nevermind, it is tomorrow on that coast.)
And I'm sort of seeing news about cast changes....? Like pulling a West End anniversary on us with Peter Joback and all. Anyway, I am excited to see what Hugh may be up to during the summer. But goodness, I am so endlessly proud of Hugh! He is one of the best in the role, and to have him there for this big event is staggering. It's a celebration for hundreds, thousands of people, and for him to be the one behind the mask, just--- I've no proper words.
My brain has too much to think about. Cabin Pressure, The Hour, Skyfall, Third Star, Phantom, Hugh Panaro... I've been nursing a headache since around 2 1/2 hours ago, and it's far worse now. I'm calling it a night- carry on and enjoy the queue.
