I wish we could be talking more about trees About how leaves reflect the summers’ sun, leaving everything at ease But, for multiple reasons there is no time for such a light breeze Because lately I've realised all I'm getting are stories bout pounding hearts and shattered dreams However I kind of lost my patience to listen, I've got my mind set on global issues and murderous regimes I cannot even be sure that, for my kids, there will be something to inherit If we continue on this highway road there won't be no brightly coloured reefs nor fish filled lakes - just our demerits. We got crisis all over, just look at the Middle East. Or Africa. Or Europe, or the fires in the Indonesian sea. On our one hand side we have the capitalistic eagle On the other one the communist bear Please mumma, tell me again how I have nothing to fear?

When there are thousands and thousands of nuclear weapons ready to be fired within a minutes command How will you feel when you’re in that witness stand? When there no longer is any difference between borders or who's owning what land. Watching what we know as mankind,  blasted away ten times over Then it doesn't matter if you’ve got your pockets filled with four-leaved clovers.

We got one cold war and a hundred burning ones. One mother earth but no rising sons.

If we continue like this within 85 years temperature will have risen 4-5 degrees, leaving us with a melting Greenland, a caved in Amazon and no guarantees That the people primarily responsible for this global warming will also be the ones penalized by the subsequent natural disasters and their fees. Like nothing we've experienced in almost 4 million years. What difference would it then make that [we’ve] got all these high-tech gears?

Current citizens of planet Earth are and will forever be the losing generations. We were the first who knew bout the global issues we were facing and are the last that are capable of actually doing something about it We are the ignorant generations Denying ourself as the true foundation As saviour of this world

Instead we are hooked on social media, taking selifies with our iPhones, Slowly losing touch as we're getting all these I's but not enough 'us'. Can we honestly say that we feel sorrow, when we are the ones refusing our children a tomorrow? So you’re trying to step up your game and you open up the papers. Hard to actually get the real picture behind the medias so well-placed drapers. You get a great deal of ISIS but nothing bout the melting ice. Earth collapsing aint hot, aint matching the market price. I dare you to throw this dice.

And yes, of course we should be fighting racism and poverty. Be fighting for gay rights, feminism and gender equality. Though regardless, we will all be extinct equally.

Back on my woodland path I look up and in the tree tops I see baby birds ready to dive, Like kamikaze pilots spreading their wings not even convinced that they actually know how to fly But knowing that either way we are all sooner or later gonna die. Likewise mankind have to be prepared to sacrifice if we have any intention to survive
