The blonde grabbed the small metal nail he had hidden under his bed. It was his key to getting out of the room. A small click was heard as he picked the lock. Smiling, he slowly peeked his head out from the door. He could see a guard on one end of the hall, to the kitchen. He looked the other way to the other slave halls and saw none. He smirked to himself as he hid in the shadows, searching for Lillian's room. The two had become close in a few days and he was glad he had gotten close to a few of the slaves. Picking Lillian's lock, it took him a few minutes to get it before he heard the click. Daniel opened the door slowly, trying not to scare the girl. "Hey, it's me." He smiled, closing the door behind him.
