Just a fun little character game. Fill in the below categories with 3-5 things that your character can be identified by.
Energetic -- head full of ideas, whatever he does, he’s sure to be enthusiastic about it
Trusting -- to the point of being naive
Joyful -- happy all the time, he tries to give others the reason to smile
Curious -- even though he’s lived for so long, things (and people, especially people) don’t cease to amaze him and he’s willing to learn more
Optimistic -- he tries his best to see the bright side of everything, no matter how dark the times he’ll find something positive and hold onto it
Energetic waving from far far away. One that gets everyone’s attention, often getting his friends too embarrassed to wave back.
A wide smile, warm and comforting whether one needs to see it or not. He’s of the opinion that happiness needs to be shared with others.
Jumping at the unsuspecting person from behind, arms either wrapped tightly around their waist or thrown loosely over their shoulder
Hand extended forward but not for a handshake. His fingertips always end up wrapping around one’s wrist. He rarely holds hands, finding a gentle grip around someone’s wrist much more natural.
A weird idea, or a dozen of those. Often tossed at complete strangers. Whether they decide to tag along or leave, it’s completely on them.
worn out trainers. he should probably buy new ones but he doesn’t really bother
hoodies he never really gets to wear but keeps them anyway -- should one of his friends get cold when they’re visiting him (as he keeps telling himself)
calf-length shorts or otherwise any type of trousers with leg sleeves cut short
boxers (when he’s at home with someone he feels comfortable with; when he’s all alone he’s most probably not wearing anything)
a pencil stuffed in his pocket -- it often breaks but he doesn’t seem to mind
headphones with self-made wings attached to them
video game controller (and a VR set which he doesn’t use too often. his vivid imagination is enough to make him immersed into the game, but should one of his friends want to play, he’s all prepared)
cellphone, which he carries with himself everywhere -- mostly so he could snatch a quick photo or two
books on birds and angels (little notes on the sides of every page, crossed out words, corrected information)
being loud. he’s afraid of silence, afraid of drowning in it and thus he often ends up as the obnoxious loud friend. it’s not that he can’t be quiet -- should he feel safe in one’s company he can fall silent without being scared. But when he feels insecure he just keeps talking like the world’s going to end the next second and he still has way too much to say.
making up stories -- so that most of the time people are not able to tell when he’s telling the truth and when he’s simply lost in the world of his imagination.
often talking before thinking -- which is something that gets him into trouble a lot; while he overthinks the most trivial things, when it comes to the important matters he often says the first thing that comes to his mind without running his mind over it to even as much as to filter it or think whether he could be misunderstood.
keeping his worries to himself -- he rarely voices that, letting his worries build up to the point at which he just breaks and disappears from everyone’s radar for a day or two, needing a hard-reset.
stubborn -- though he will often give up and agree with the other should they end up fighting, it doesn’t mean he’s changed his opinion on the matter. he’s still going to believe he was the one being right.
licking or chewing on his bottom lip whenever embarrassed or nervous
noses brushed together, little pecks, cuddles, hands over someone else’s body -- the sort of skinship that makes him sure that his friends are still with him
long glances full of adoration whenever he’s proud of someone
upset or angered he will avoid looking at the other, hands clenched into fists; in addition to that his body temperature drops by a good few degrees
when happy or simply lost in his thoughts he’s often just smiles
A quiet song hummed at the dawn. As soon as the birds break into a song in the early hours of morning, he feels the need to do the same. However, his is much more quiet, softer -- as if he was trying to put the world to sleep instead of waking it up -- at the same time elongating the moment.
Scratches and bruises on the knees. A wild run through the bushes, in hurry to show a friend some really interesting place he had recently discovered.
Bodies covered in paint, messy painting sessions that ended up with two friends painting on each other.
Floral patterns drew in frost on the window glass.
Barefoot walk through the frozen lake.
