This plate was thrown on the wheel with a brown stoneware clay and glazed with blue and white glazes. All glazes are non toxic, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. This baking dish measures approximately 9 1/2" from rim to to and 1 3/4" high. As with any handmade pottery there may be some small imperfections.
