"of course i believe you, why wouldn't i?" | welcome to 2k!
There’s no denying the fact, that these days, the truth was hard to find. So of course, it was becoming more and more common for people to question the truth, for people to disregard it. To not believe it. Especially when it seemed someone had been caught red-handed. “I suppose most of the people I’ve met aren’t quite as understanding as you are.” She smiles small, bends at the knee and begins to pick up the broken mirror scattered across the floor. “and with me being the only one in the room currently, It’s easy to assume.” but she’s glad she hasn’t. She inhales sharply. Cutting her finger along one of the jagged edges midway through trying to pick it up. She should be more careful, but there’s a sort of urgency to her movements. She doesn’t want her sister walking in on a catastrophe. “We have a cat who likes to push things off of shelves.” she decides it’s probably best to explain. Ignoring the dull throb at the tip of her finger just to gather the last remaining peices. “also doesn’t like mirrors. So you can probably imagine what happened when he came across a mirror on the shelf.”
