“oh come on!” evangeline laughs, holding onto the girl’s arm. she had to admit it was early, but who doesn’t love a good morning jog? a lot of people actually, but she’d rather not think about them. “the best way to boost your energy is some exercise, and it’s always better to do it with a friend. plus, if you come with me, i’ll treat you to some breakfast!”

eunha had only meant to try the bracelet on since she thought it was cute. all the little jewels and sparkles - it was definitely eye catching, and the aussie was captivated. but at the other’s words, she quickly pulling it off her wrist, shoving it back into her hands. “no, no!” she declines, an almost flustered expression of her face. “there’s no need for that, really. i’ll get myself one! besides, it totally matches your outfit now!”

“that doesn’t sound healthy,” eunha comments, glancing over to look at her face. indeed, she did look very stressed, but she didn’t understand why. it was a beautiful day, they were eating good food, they didn’t seem to have a jam-packed schedule today. to the aussie, this is what an ideal day looks like. “calm down. have some water. take a bite off your sandwich and tell me why you’re so worried.”

it doesn’t sound healthy because it’s most certainly not. an altruistic and pure-hearted youth, yorae hardly has to try to keep up with her “good girl” disposition - in fact, she has a harder time abandoning it for her stage performances with a group whose concept seemed to be a complete one-eighty of her character. even with that, yorae loves everything about reign check. 

but being that today itself is rather calm as far as schedules are concerned, her stress is not sourced from anything related to her group. the younger woman exhales, eyeing the grilled cheese sandwich ( which, she has to admit to herself, looks very delicious right about now ) warily before her cheeks fill with an unreleased sigh and her chin rests in her hand. 

“i can’t stop thinking about this song i’m working on,” she admits, her pouting expression an epitome of helplessness - a young woman defeated by her own conscience. “i mean, i’m excited and everything, but it’s a lot different than anything i’ve ever done. what if the fans don’t like it?” 

“The latest fashion trend! Haven’t you heard about it? It’s pretty groovy and gives a careless type of image.” He nodded, almost seeming he actually believed in those words, yet couldn’t keep from laughing. 

“of course i do,” eunha replies, looking down at his bandaged wrist. the first time she had asked, she was told it was because he fell, but she found that highly unlikely. what weird position do you need to have landed on to hurt your wrist that badly? “it really looks like it hurts. how long do you have to keep it wrapped like that?”

“you really think so?” she gently touches her braid, a smile blooming on her lips. evangeline had spent over an hour trying to perfect the complicated hair routine after she saw a video of a beauty vlogger on her sns post a tutorial. while it looked easy on screen, it was quite difficult for the girl. especially since her hair was so long. it’s reassuring to know her efforts weren’t for nothing. “thank you, i really appreciate you saying that! maybe if you grow your hair longer, i can braid yours too.”

“Yes! it looks complicated to do. Ah i wish i know girl things.” he started laughing and raised both thumbs up, while still looking at the female’s braids. It is well defined and he may not be familiar with girl stuff, but he had seen his older sister do things with her hair before and he finds it amazing how girls can be creative over things like hair. “If my hair grew longer? I bet I’d look pretty ugly with those. I’d look like a hobo than looking like thor or someone.”
