Well technically he did say in an interview that he did want to revisit the donor storyline and check up on the kid and explore that dynamic and that the rest was up to the writers. In terms of Tommy he hasn’t said a thing about whether he wants Tommy back or not but he has said he wanted Taylor back just to explore friendship dynamic and wanting Lucy back. Also the fact that he thought he would get a new love interest but single dad storyline instead. I think he just cares about Buck and only Buck and having the attention of the buddies. I mean if he truly cared in all the interviews he did he could of pivot his answers to that of the canon relationship when asked buddie baiting questions or even shut it down like Ryan has but he chooses to continue to buddie bait.

revisiting the donor storyline doesn't mean wanting to become the kid's dad and have him become a permanent fixture in Buck's life. Oliver probably meant having an episode where he catches up on the kid's life or something like that.
and when he's asked about Tommy and their relationship, he does say nice things. when he's asked about buddie he doesn't say no, but he does deflect with "I don't write the show", "I don't know", etc. - he's probably not opposed to that storyline (and yes he also likes the fans' attention). Ryan doesn't agree with it at all, hence he's more assertive saying things like "they're brothers"* "I want Eddie to find a good woman", etc.
