troy was born in the gold coast, australia to a father who was in charge of service at a car dealership and a mother who worked at the same dealership in human resources. both busy but loving parents to their first born. until his lil sister came along and the love had to be shared.

his childhood consisted of his mother teaching him how to play guitar, dance, the importance of manners, social skills and although he loved his mother to pieces, his bond with his father was stronger.

he taught troy how to fix cars, surf, skateboard, go cart and to go through life having fun, not worrying about the what ifs and to have a joke

studying was not something troy liked to do, though he was lucky enough to be gifted with intelligence (so his mother says). he would always pass his tests even if he was talking in class and didn’t do the homework.

with that being said, with a bit of effort in his last year of school he graduated with quite a high score though did he go off to uni? no. he decided to travel with the money he’d saved from little jobs through the years and a school based apprenticeship in light vehicle mechanics.

china, new zealand, greek islands, ireland, but there’s was smth about the us that tickled his fancy. on a break from his travels in his early twenties, troy was offered a job opportunity to go around the us working in travel agencies. it wasn’t something he wanted to do with his life but it was a travelling opportunity so he took it.

off he went, a four week training course under his belt and that was the last time he would reside in australia.

troy traveled to different cities, rural towns, all over the place but there was something about seattle that stuck. he stayed in seattle for a little while, quit the job working with the travel agents and started working as a mechanic. but then devastating news struck him.

TW: DEATH, CAR ACCIDENT !! both of his parents tragically lost their lives. they were headed to their favourite pub to meet a couple of friends, enjoying their time with no kids as they had done a lot in the passing years. that was until they were crossing the street and the drivers blatantly refused to stop at the crossing and ran straight over them, not stopping or looking back.

troy was on the next plane back and the grief that he felt was overwhelming. he had to be there for his sister but all he wanted to do was stay in bed and not move; curl up and cry. he knew he would have to carry his parent’s coffin eventually, but not yet; not when they were so young.

troy couldn’t bare being back in his hometown, though he stayed there with his sister until they were both a little more settled back into life. that’s what it seemed like anyway. he moved into 8th and gran in 2016 and that is where he has stayed. he hasn’t gone back to australia and he doesn’t wish to any time soon.

upon his return to work, he was promoted to head mechanic/workshop manager and getting some good money thank christ he says!!.

now for personality!

this lil shit is a cheeky devil. he is smooth but playful and carefree and has a sarcastic sense of humour. a lot of people would assume he’s being rude though really he’s being a damn smart ass and taking the piss.

he tends to be quite nonchalant, not worrying about a lot of things and letting life takes him as it pleases.

he feels as though the only person who can look after you is yourself after what happened to his parents and yes, he is there for his sister and his closest friends, though it’s put a guard up and made him quite reserved.

troy doesn’t like to show that he’s hurting or in any sort of pain, so he bottles it and keeps it to himself which isn’t the healthiest thing to do.

saskia  makes  up  1/2  of  the  jacobse  twins  ,  being  the  younger  of  the  two  .  in  some  ways  ,  being  a  twin  was  the  only  constant  in  her  life  ,  her  older  brother  being  the  only  person  she  felt  she  could  rely  on  .  

the  first  year  of  the  twins  lives  was  marked  by  the  divorce  of  their  parents  ;  a  messy  split  .  although  it  occurred  way  before  saskia's  recollection  ,  the  aftermath  was  long  lasting  .  her  parents  enjoyed  using  their  children  as  some  kind  of  weapon  in  their  arguments  ,  but  never  actually  paid  the  children  much  attention  otherwise  .  as  if  often  the  case  with  families  that  harbour  more  wealth  than  love  ,  saskia  and  her  brother  were  raised  by  nannys  mostly  .  

their  childhood  was  also  marked  by  a  lot  of  upheaval  &  change  .  their  mother  moved  to  america  when  they  were  eight  ,  so  a  lot  of  their  youth  was  spent  travelling  between  america  and  the  netherlands  .  

as  a  result  ,  saskia  didn't  really  have  the  chance  to  develop  meaningful  friendships  from  a  young  age  .  when  she  finally  settled  in  seattle  when  she  was  sixteen  ,  she  had  no  idea  how  to  relate  to  the  american  kids  -  or  kids  in  general  .  her  bubbly  nature  helped  her  a  lot  ,  but  she  was  often  seen  as  the  weird  kid  . rather  than  fight  it  ,  she  mostly  just  embraced  it  .

saskia  is  an  idealistic  person  for  sure  -  she  sees  the  bright  side  to  every  situation  ,  even  when  there  isn't  actually  a  bright  side  lmao  .  it's  difficult  to  make  her  understand  when  she's  being  naive  or  underestimating  a  situation  .  

she  absolutely  adores  photography  ;  her  dream  would  be  to  become  a  photographer  for  some  kinda  fashion  magazine  but  at  the  moment  she  mostly  works  concerts  ,  events  ,  etc  etc  etc

she  generally  is  just  a  very  creative  person  -  she  has  her  own  etsy  store  where  she  sells  her  jewellery  :)  

she  channels  a  lot  of  her  personality  into  her  clothing  like  ...  ur  girl  loves  bold  neon  colors  ,  statement  trousers  and  some  bad  ass  leather  jackets  ...  

the  BEST  shoulder  to  lean  on  ...  would  break  her  own  heart  to  save  her  friend's  ...  the  extent  to  which  she  wants  to  look  out  for  everyone  can  actually  be  ?  pretty  detrimental  for  her  but  will  it  stop  her  ?  No

u  could  call  her  a  bit  of  a  worry  wart  at  times  ...  she  tries  not  to  be  too  overbearing  but  she's  100%  the  mom  friend

- so this is my baby boy, theodore  kingsleigh and i love him sm ?? he usually goes by theodore, but on occasion people call him theo but he doesn’t care what people call him as long as it’s kind.

- theo was born in london, england to both loving and supportive parents named james and adriana. he lived there until he was six years old when his family moved to denver because his parents, who are both marine biologists, were located for work.

- his parents had him when they were both young.

- unlike his older siblings, theo wasn’t a bastard though. by the time he was born, his parents had already married.

- growing up, he had and still does, have a great relationship with his parents. with his childhood consisting nothing more than love and devotion from his parents, theo had nothing to complain about. his parents loved him dearly, whose pure heart  and open-mindedness they helped to cultivate. they encouraged theo’s belief in extraordinary things and hoped he had carried it throughout his life growing up. his parents had always made him promise to have courage and be kind to others, for—as they explained to him—kindness has power, and that they would see him through all the trials that life could offer, in life and death.

- cancer/mental illness tw: when he was thirteen, his mother had been diagnosed with cervical cancer. upon hearing the news, theo’s whole world clasped. not only was he at a pivotal stage in his life where everything was changing and becoming more stressful ( becoming a teenager, starting high school, going through puberty ), one of the most important people in his life had be claimed by the deadly disease altogether. so many thoughts and feelings were going through his mind at the time, that he ran himself physically sick and had experienced his first panic attack. he has since been medically diagnosed with panic disorder. thankfully the cells on his mother’s cervix were diagnosed at precancerous stage and the doctors were able to treat it because it developed and spread. however, that didn’t and doesn’t stop theo from being in a constantly state of panic every time his mother so much as feels pain or coughs due to irrelevant reasons. the entire year had changed him and his family for a while.

- he’s the youngest of three children: natalia, christopher, and theodore. his old brother, who is three years older than him and their relationship, however, is a bit estranged. as much as he loves his brother and wishes they could see eye-to-eye, sometimes they have a tendency to butt heads often. whether that might mean your typical sibling arguments or full-on blown out fights, they just can’t seem to see get along.

- most people would describe theo as the altruistic. despite being in a world where there’s hatred and suffering, theo declares himself independent and strong-willed by remaining kind-hearted and self-loving, not allowing the bitterness surrounding his life to overtake him and morph him into someone as cruel as the world seems to be every day. he makes the most of his life by remaining optimistic of the possibilities of a brighter future. but besides that, he’s also witty and sarcastic. he is unafraid to stand up for himself when he feels he’s in the right–or at least, attempt to do so. and although he strives to contain his optimism aura, he can fall into fits of frustration and annoyance quite often.

- he’s also super quiet and shy. he loves to make friends but because of his quiet complex, he usually has trouble speaking up and making his voice heard. he tends to become flustered a lot too when he can’t express his emotions; which he has trouble doing anyway when he’s not flustered.

- theo is capable of enduing tremendous hardship. though he may not handle difficulty in the healthiest or best way, often repressing emotion, he mostly like emerges on the other side. he doesn’t know how to express his emotions in a diplomatic way, but rather fumbles it all up and starts to ramble. rarely opens up because of this.

- went to college at university of denver as an undergrad. graduated with a bachelors of science in human physiology as well as a bachelors of fine arts in illustration and photography.

- moved to settle for his masters and has loved the small town ever since.

- to put it plan and simple theodore is an art ho ( he’s even going to school for it ). theo always loved anything artistic. even when he was little, he would go around with his disposable camera and take pictures of everything and then take to paper to draw of all the things he had taken pictures of as well.

- he strongly believes that art is an umbrella term that relates to expressing of oneself ( not just through photography and painting ) and that everyone has the freedom to express themselves however they please. because of his beliefs, he chooses to break gender roles like bread and wears whatever the fuck he wants because yolo.

what’s up my dudes. allow me to quickly introduce myself as chibs, a 21 year old canadian with a lot of love for tequila. my interests include hockey, harry styles and thai food and i’d like to think i’m a pretty chill person. anyway ! enough about me, let’s talk about my witch child rj! 

raphael riordan jett is the first son to be born into the jett family in over four generations. his aunts and mother all believe it’s some sort of miracle, as since the lack of sons in the family was said to be a “curse”.

he was actually ??? not born in a hospital, lmao. when his mother went into labour they were on this retreat or something in the woods and it was too late to rush to a hospital so ? mama jett just birthed him right there in their cabin. 

so rj’s dad died like, really early in the pregnancy, he actually doesn’t know anything about the guy aside from the fact that yeah, he existed. the only thing he left? the name raphael for him. 

so raphael is kind of ironic because his family 100% doesn’t believe in anything biblical, it’s kind of funny. 

that being said, the jett family are sort of a famous wiccan family. now i’m not talking about flying on a broomstick or anything. his family comes from old magic, they practice magic involving herbs & plants, energies and worship of chosen deities.

the little shop he runs ? it’s the family’s witch shop. it’s filled with crystals, herbs, tarot cards, candles, books & mystery. 

so ! rj’s specialty is actually love and sex spells, but is like super lowkey about it lmfao. he’s actually the best in the family when it comes to that. 

this is also ironic because homeboy can’t flirt or be spicy to save his life. also he’s a virgin.

so !!! rj keeps his witchy life super low profile like, knows people don’t believe in it and he’s not the type to explain or defend himself so he just...doesn’t mention it unless they come to his shop. 

he’s actually a little snarky snot who needs to be told to chill sometimes. 

he attended university for philosophy, idk what that tells you.

so he moved away from home just because he’s a ‘man who needs his space from all of the overpowering female energy’ at his mom’s house.  they all laughed at him and he just became more pouty.

he’s actually a giant kitten, like he’s 6′3 but if you pet his hair or like...if he enjoys being around you ? you can almost hear the purring.

rj has like...the softest hair around. his mom makes him this elixir because of his curls and it’s just always super soft and smells super good. 

he’s definitely someone the apartment complex probably talks about because he’s always alone or like...being super odd. never see him during the day, he’s always active at night and noises can be heard from his apartment, stresses out when he does run into a neighbor and fumbles over words sometimes. 

hi everybody ! i’m em & i’m here with my girl casey. not in any particular order, these are just random facts about her ! i also have a musings tag here to help you get a better feel for her.

is pretty close with her parents, not best friends or anything, but they’re friendly; her father is a doctor & her mother works in real estate. only child.

is super, super fucking honest, to the point of being blunt & hurtful. doesn’t really care, tbh — she would rather be honest & have people be honest with her, even if the truth hurts.

volunteers at an animal sanctuary in her spare time — she makes time for them every day; when she gets her own place, she’s 100% getting a pet. until then, she considers the animals she takes care of “hers” in a way; the animals aren’t adoptable due to being too timid / having bad pasts / having health conditions, so in a way, they kind of are.

is pretty well-versed in martial arts. she trained in muay thai growing up, but eventually branched out to other disciplines and considers herself a pretty decent fighter. not the one to fuck with on a night out, that’s for sure. she will get in a bar fight to defend her friends, or just to shut some asshole up. occasionally participates in amateur fight nights, but knows she doesn’t want to / can’t make a career out of it.

has always been creative & artistic, loves drawing, so when she got into getting tattoos as soon as she turned eighteen, she figured hey, why not make a career out of it? the owner of the shop she works at allowed her an apprenticeship, and soon enough, she was experienced enough to gather her own clientele.

goes for early morning runs pretty much every day; she likes being up before everyone else is, then going back to sleep when the world starts to buzz. usually starts her day for real around noon-2 pm.

loves plants. has a whole room of flowers and herbs and succulents. also really loves to cook & is pretty good at it!
